Archaeologist
Although I became an archaeologist by accident, I’ve come to love the challenges and rewards that this area as to offer. I’m a fan of History and I love travelling, and I combined them by starting Time Travellers with my friend Inês. I’m the creative side of our company and the expert in walks such as Medieval Lisbon or the Carnation Revolution tour, besides my ever favorites Roman and Moorish Lisbon! I’m always ready to walk, talk and to have a nice cup of coffee, and I’m an excellent company to explore Lisbon and Portugal, while sharing the stories of all the characters that made up our History.

Archaeologist
Since I was a little girl I watched Indiana Jones and dreamed about becoming an archaeolgist! After a few years of digging and investigating, I started Time Travellers with Raquel and now I make sure everything is well organized and pretty, thanks to my newly discovered abilities as an amateur designer. My heart is faithful to Roman archaeology, but as a good “lisboeta” I also became the expert in walks like The Saints or The Women of Lisbon. My walks are the perfect combination of a good time and lots of love for this beautiful city where I was born and raised.

- Spring, 2010
- Two friends on a girl’s night out start dreaming about creating Time Travellers
- September, 2010
- We began training with the entrepreneurship program Mulher +, to acquire the tools that allowed us to make our dream come true
- 30th June, 2011
- Time Travellers is born
- 2011/2012
- Lots of research and preparation work, getting to know archaeological sites thoughout the country
- March, 2012
- We began our partnership with Let’sBonus, still active today
- 10th March, 2012
- Our first official tour with the lovely Massa Gomes family
- 18th April, 2012
- We began our partnership with Odisseias, still active today
- 5th/6th May, 2012
- Time Travellers participated in the Arcaheology Fest for the first time
- 25th July, 2012
- We began our partnership with Lisbon Segways and started exploring the past on two wheels
- 7th August, 2012
- We created our orange t-shirts, complete with the Time Travellers logo, so that our travelers can easily spot us in the meeting points
- 20th October, 2012
- Time Travellers participated in the Heritage and Tourism Conference, in Vila Nova da Barquinha
- 15th November, 2012
- Time Travellers participated in the Cultural Routes Seminar, in Porto
- 19th March, 2013
- We began our partnership with Abreu Viagens Travel Agents, still active today
- 19th October, 2013
- Ricardo Grosso becomes part of the TT Team
- 14th June, 2014
- The first mini-Time Traveller, Raquel’s son, is born
- 2nd April, 2014
- Vanessa Filipe becomes part of the TT Team
